The episode starts with Auntie Kourtney and Tristan Thompson continuing their conversation about why Tristan is such a terrible person and if he plans to fix that in the near future.
Spoiler alert: No, no he does not.
In the next scene, Mommy, Scott, Penelope, and I arrive in New York the day before the Met Gala. Last year the whole family was invited to the Met, but this year Anna Wintour came to her senses and cut Kris, Auntie Khloe, and Auntie Kourtney from the list.
Sidenote: I shared my experience at the Met this year with Elle UK.
In LA, Auntie Kourt revealed to the camera crew that she was 5 months pregnant! Her youngest son, Reign, was really excited. He wanted to name his new brother the first name “Deez”, the middle name “Big”, and the last name “Nuts”: Deez Big Nuts.
The Disicks are always coming up with the most absurd names. Never forget, Mason wanted to name Penelope, “Sister”.
Auntie Kourt told him that her baby’s last name would be “Barker”. She sounded relieved not to be bringing another Disick child into this world. Finally, a kid that will actually have a chance. A kid that won’t hit the nanny. A kid that won’t need bail money. A kid that Corey won’t want to spank.
Auntie was going to announce her pregnancy to the public at the Blink-182 show. My idea, of course.
In New York, we went to Mommy’s fitting for the Met with creative director Daniel Roseberry from Schiaparelli. He said he heard I was into the look, but I let him know that it could be better. There’s always room for improvement.
Mommy told Daniel I said, “Oh wow! It’s beautiful!”.
LIES.
This woman just lies.
I never said that. As you all saw in the flashback I said, “I love it”. Which is my way of saying, “eww”. Let’s be clear.
Mommy asked for my notes for her Schiaparelli look.
My notes were as follows:
Way too many gaps in the pearls
Mommy looked like a Hawaiian girl with her dress over it
The pearls look fake, from the dollar store (Mommy gave me some pushback on this as if I didn’t know what I was talking about)
The look is beachy
The diamonds ruined the look
